Brian Mills, DPM.  Podiatrists offer services which often include treatment of acute and chronic foot pain, knee pain, and hip pain, including the treatment of injuries to the lower leg. These services allow Dr. Mills to be a perfect fit with the Empire Orthopedic Center provider team.


Dr. Mills received his undergraduate education at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from California College of Podiatric Medicine, San Francisco, California.  His Podiatric Surgical Residency was completed at the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center, Loma Linda, California.


Dr. Mills joins Empire Orthopedic Center with a wide-ranging background in podiatry and surgery.  His credentials include extensive work in prevention of limb amputation while serving as the co-chair of the Loma Linda Healthcare System Prevention Amputation Care Team (PACT) and co-coordinator of the limb preservation team, which is tasked with caring for and the management of patients with critical limb ischemia (a restriction in the blood supply to the limb). He is also the Chief of Podiatry and Director of Extern Education at the Jerry L. Pettis Veterans Hospital.

 

In addition to his work with Loma Linda Healthcare System, Dr. Mills has been in private practice since August 1997.
