Erin Carnahan, PA-C, joined Empire Orthopedic Center in June 2010. He is a graduate of Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree. He earned his Masters of Medical Science degree and his Physician Assistant degree from Nova Southern University of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. On graduation, he was presented with the Humanitarian Award.
Erin was previously employed for two years with The Spine and Scoliosis Center in Orlando, Florida where his duties included pre and postoperative examinations and assisting during surgery.
While living in Florida, Erin participated in DOCARE International’s Ecuador Medical Mission. DOCARE is a medical outreach organization dedicated to providing much-needed healthcare to indigent and isolated people in remote areas around the world. His volunteer experience also includes participating in the disaster relief operation in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti following the massive earthquake that devastated the area.
Erin’s hobbies include: Backcountry backpacking, hiking, mountain biking, lifting weights, wakeboarding, trail running, skiing, travelling, and humanitarian efforts.
